Course Description
In these episodes, we will learn the fundamental skills and knowledge required to play the piano. Starting with the names of the white keys and corresponding notes, we will build upon this foundation by learning the names and placement of the black keys, as well as sharps and flats. We will then move on to understanding the music staff and how to read and interpret different rhythmic patterns, culminating in an understanding of the C Major Scale. As we progress, we will learn about measures, chords, tempo, and how to play with both hands. We will apply our newly acquired skills by playing popular songs such as "Mary Had a Little Lamb," and practicing rhythm exercises. By the end of these episodes, we will have gained the necessary skills to play the piano and create our own music pieces.

Course Description
This guitar course is designed to take beginners through the basics of playing the guitar, from sitting with the instrument to playing scales. The course begins with an introduction to the guitar and teaches students how to sit comfortably with it while playing scales. The course also covers the fundamentals of reading sheet music including the staff, the treble clef, bars (measures) and time signature. Additionally, students will learn about different note lengths including half notes, 16th notes, and 8th notes, as well as how to read and play notes on different strings. The course covers sharps, flats and accidentals on different strings and teaches students how to play pickup notes (upbeats). The course also covers different playing techniques including the free stroke, open string free stroke exercises, free stroke thumb and open bass string notes. Students will learn how to play scales and how to read key signatures.

This course is designed for all learners starting at the age of six who are interested in playing the guitar but have never completed a guitar course before.
